Bennett <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />As a staff engineer for Armstrong Engineers & Associates, Inc., Mr. Bennett has <br />participated in a substantial number of diverse engineering projects. I n addition to design and <br />construction of sewer and street projects for new subdivision, he has completed domestic <br />water system construction from conception to completion, and has also been employed on <br />boundary surveys, construction stakeout and soils testing. Mr. Bennett has recently completed <br />a feasibility study concerning the design capacity of the Clifton No.2 Sanitation District <br />Sewage Treatment Facility. As recommended in this feasibility study, the Clifton Sanitation <br />District No.2 requested that a chlorine contact chamber be designed for their sewage treat- <br />ment facility. Mr. Bennett was also responsible for the design of this improvement and for <br />insuring that various state and federal regulations for sewage treatment effluent quality were <br />met. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />Before joining Armstrong Engineers & Associates, Inc., Mr. Bennett served with the <br />United States Bureau of Reclamation, as a Civil Engineer. During his tenure with the Bureau, <br />Mr. Bennett was employed on the Grand Valley Salinity Control Project, during which time he <br />analyzed irrigation systems and prepared cost estimates for the project. He was also responsible <br />for performing field map tests for the Bureau of Reclamation Grand Valley Orthophoto <br />Mapping Project. <br /> <br />,~~ <br /> <br />While associated with the United States Forest Service, Mr. Bennett was employed <br />primarily as Civil Engineer/Technician, responsible for survey of logging and access roads on <br />U.S. Forest Service property. Mr. Bennett also has acquired considerable experience with rail- <br />road engineering and surveying. While employed by the Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company, Mr. Bennett's responsibility included survey and construction of railroad siding and <br />mainline railroad improvements. <br /> <br />I <br />-J <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the <br />California State Polytechnic University and isa registered Civil Engineer in the state of California. <br />He is also a registered engineer and registered land surveyor in the state of Colorado. <br />Mr. Bennett is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Rail- <br />way Engineering Association, and the Professional Engineers of Colorado. <br />
