His experience has ranged from the computation of
flood profiles, both discharge and elevation, to the technical
review of over 100 floodplain studies. This exposure involved
the calculation of the hydraulics of both suber i tical and
supercritical profiles, for both natural and man-made
channels, and frequently included the evaluation of the
effects of proposed structures.

-:

His responsibility has included supervision of an engineering
team in reviewing and re-analyzing flood insurance studies as
required by the National Flood Insurance Program. As part of
this review he has used the Army Corps of Engineers' HEC-2
computer program extensively as well as obtaining a working
knowledge of the Corps' HEC-l and Flood Flow Frequency
programs in addition to the Soil Conservation Services' TR-20
and WSP-2 programs.

Since joining our firm Mr. Beadenkopf has been assigned as
Project Engineer for the preparation of 13 HUD Type 15 Flood
Insurance Studies for the Federal Insurance Administration.

-I
i

As such he has directed an engineering team of several
engineers and appropriate backup staff in the analysis of over
130 miles of floodplains within Colorado. This analysis has
included the hydraulic analysis of water courses with drainage
areas ranging from 1.00 to 1550 square miles.
