<br />000339 <br /> <br />PREFACE <br /> <br />During the week of April 2-7, 1951, the Colorado Water Con- <br />servation Board arranged and sponsored a series of public meetings <br />to explain and discuss the Colorado River Storage froject and Par- <br />ticipating Projects Report, and also the Reconnaissance Report on <br />the Proposed Development of the Gunnison River Basin. <br /> <br />These meetings were held as follows: <br /> Durango . . . Tuesday, April 3 <br /> Gunnison . . . Thursday, April 5 <br /> Delta . . Friday, April 6 <br /> Meeker . . . . Saturday, April 7 <br /> <br />At each of the meetings, it was requested that any and all <br />interests should carefully consider the proposals contained in <br />the two above-mentioned reports, and that after such considera- <br />tion, submit their views and comments to the Colorado Water Con- <br />servation Board. <br /> <br />These requested comments, in the foI'll! of resolutions and <br />communications, have been arriving at the office of the Board. <br />Copies thereof in mimeographed form are herewith submitted. <br /> <br />
