Unstudied riparian communities. <br />· Wildlife watering and habitat for elk, deer, antelope, coyote, mountain lion, <br />black bear, raptors, rodents, amphibians, and insects. <br />. Dry Creek <br /> <br />Hydrologic Characteristics <br /> <br />Dry Creek typically flows in response to snowmelt during the spring, and exhibits <br />very low flows or intermittent flows the remainder of the year. The stream is <br />not gauged or measured regularly. so BLM staff have constructed a synthetic <br />hydrograph of the creek using the methodology outlined in an appendix to this <br />report. (See attached figure.) <br /> <br />Water Rights Located UDstrelUll of WSA <br /> <br />The following two water rights are supplied by the same spring, <br /> <br />Ainge Water Pipeline - T9N R104W, Sec. 25, NW SE; 0.1486 cfs; 1964 adjudication; <br />domestic and livestock uses. <br /> <br />Massey Pipeline - T9N R104W, Sec. 25, NE SW; 0.0156 cfs; 1954 adjudication; <br />livestock and domestic use. <br /> <br />DeJournette Ditch Extension - T9N R103W, Sec. 30, NE NW; 5.88 cfs; 1964 <br />adjudication; irrigation, livestock, and domestic uses. This water right is <br />located approximately 1/4 mile upstream from the WSA boundary. <br /> <br />Ainge Reservoir - T9N R104W, Sec. 25, NE NE; 4.465 acre ft.; 1964 adjudication; <br />irrigation and livestock use. <br /> <br />Massey Ditch - T9N R104W, Sec. 25, NW SE; 1.5 cfs; 1964 adjudication; irrigation <br />and domestic use. This ditch, located approximately three miles upstream from <br />the WSA, is used to fill Massey Reservoir. <br /> <br />Massey Reservoir - T9N R103W, Sec. 30, SE SE; 19.53 acre feet; 1964 adjudication; <br />livestock and domestic use. <br /> <br />Massey Livestock Tanks - Two tanks; 18.0 acre feet total storage capacity. <br /> <br />Pease Well - T9N R103W, Sec. 27, NE NW; 0.033 cfs; 1984 adjudication; domestic <br />and livestock use. <br /> <br />45 <br />
