Spruce-fir-willow, willow-sedge, and sedge-rush riparian areas. <br />. Habitat for trout, beaver, and other aquatic species. <br />. Troublesome Creek <br /> <br />Hydrologic Characteristics <br /> <br />Troublesome Creek and Rabbit Ears Creek are perennial streams, with flows peaking <br />during May and June from snowmelt. Historical stream gauge records indicate that <br />during August through April period, combined flows from the two streams average <br />20 cfs or less. (Please see attached figure.) <br /> <br />Water Rights Located UDstrelUll of WSA <br /> <br />Matheson Reservoir T4N R79W, Sec. 19, NW SW; 1073.6 acre feet; 1964 <br />adjudication; irrigation use. Water released from the reservoir is diverted by <br />Missouri Ditch, located downstream from the WSA. <br /> <br />Water Rights Located Wit;JJin WSA <br /> <br />Pickering Ditch; T3N R80W, Sec. 14, SW NE; 9.4 cfs absolute and 10.2 cfs <br />conditional; 1915 adjudication. <br /> <br />BLM Springs - Four springs, 0.01 cfs total flow. <br /> <br />United States, 0.002 cfs, 1880 priority. The BLM holds an appropriative <br />streamflow right through the entire WSA on Troublesome, Glomerate, and Porphyry <br />Creeks. The water rights Glomerate and Porphyry Creeks support wildlife and <br />recreation uses, while the water right for Troublesome Creek supports fish, <br />wildlife, and recreation uses.
