Ten1ative schedules of cstimatcs for each population arc also prcsented. <br />'Ibis was prepared by my office based on presentations and discussions at the Decemher 6-7 <br />population estimates workshop and on follow-up discussions with the principal invcstigators. A <br />revised dran of the entire workshop report ("Statistical Validity and Precision of Population <br />Estimates for Colorado Pikemirulow and Humpback: A Summary oCCurrent Protocols with <br />Recommendations for Revisions") is forthcoming and will include revisions based 011 c.omments <br />from the principal investigators. <br /> <br />I am requcsting that this topic be disCL\sscd by the Biology Committee as soon as possiblc; the <br />next Biology Committee meeting is scheduled for April 16-17, but perhaps an earlier conference <br />call could be arranged (I'll raise tne question during the February 25 Biology Committee <br />conference call). <br /> <br />Please contact me or Tom Czapla i fyou have questions or comments.
