About 4.6 miles below the 'diversion dam-, p'art of the <br />water is siphoned under the Colorado River to the Orchard Mesa Power <br />Canal for conveyance to the powerplant and then pumped to the Orchard <br />l~sa Canal for delivery to project -lands.
