Colo. <br /> <br />SPO~SORING ACENCY: Collbran Water Conservancy District organized 10-26-55 <br /> <br />DESGRIPTION: <br /> <br />Vega Reservoir was constructed on Plateau Creek and in addition to <br />Plateau Creek natural flows, the Leon-Park Feeder Canal conveys <br />surplus flows of Leon and Park Creeks to the reservoir. The South- <br />side Canal delivers storage w::Iter to project lands and replaces <br />irrigation water diverted from Big and Cottonwood Creeks. The flow <br />of these two creeks regulated by 15 existing reservoirs is diverted <br />into the Bonham-Cottonwood Pipeline and used for power generation <br />at the Upper and Lower Molina Powerplants.
