<br />0028)4 <br /> <br />quadrangles; 1:100,000 (30 x 60 min.) quadrangles; 1:250,000 (20 x 10 ) <br />sheets. The Front Range Urban Corridor from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs <br />has been mapped at 1:100,000. There is also a 1:500,000 topographic-political <br />map of the entire state and county maps for the entire state at a convenient <br />scale of 1:50,000 have been completed. <br /> <br />Due to a combination of factors, there may be cases that require a special <br />base map. In such cases, aerial photographs can be used to compile a <br />topographic map at any desired scale, detail, and accuracy. Black-and-white <br />photo coverage exists for nearly all of Colorado and is available from public <br />agencies or private photogrammetric consultants. Natural color and infra-red <br />photography is also available for some areas. <br /> <br />Existing Hazard Mapping <br /> <br />As a result of House Bill 1041 (24-65.1-101 et seq., C.R.S. 1973) geologic <br />hazard maps were prepared for many areas of the state. These maps include <br />landslides and debris flows.
