Preservation of these values <br /> <br />for the benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations of the <br /> <br />I: <br />I' <br />,I <br />Ii <br /> <br />nation would serve the environmental quality objective of "Principles and <br /> <br />Standards. " <br /> <br />The componenets of EQ identified in the Yampa and Green River Basins are: <br /> <br />(l) preserve and protect areas of natural beauty and river segments <br /> <br />with wild, scenic, or recreational river characteristics <br /> <br />(2) preserve and protect areas with historic, archeologic, and <br /> <br />cultural value <br /> <br />(3) preserve !lnd protect endangered or threatened wildlife or <br /> <br />vegetation <br /> <br />(4) preserve or enhance air and water quality <br /> <br />(5) preserve freedom of choice to future resource Users by <br /> <br />avoiding irreversible or irretrievable effects <br /> <br />4 <br />
