<br />001291 <br /> <br />C. Definitions <br /> <br />Some of the terms used in this proposal have particular and specific <br /> <br />meanings and are defined as follows: <br /> <br />1. ContiJl;Uous - Lands or legal subdivisions having a COllllllOtl <br /> <br />boundary; lands having only a c01lllllOn corner are not <br /> <br />contiguous. <br /> <br />2. Formally Identified Primitive or Natural Areas <br /> <br />Those areas <br /> <br />having had a final action published in the Federal Register <br /> <br />with a stated purpose, objective, and/or title 'identifying <br /> <br />" <br />, <br />, <br />" <br /> <br />or designating them as primitive or natural areas. <br /> <br />3. Instant Study Area - One of the primitive or natural areas <br /> <br />formally identified by BLM, prior to November 1, 1975. <br /> <br />4. Intrusion A man-made feature or man-influenced change <br /> <br />r <br />, <br /> <br />(land/water, vegetation, or structure) which is in contrast <br /> <br />with the natural characteristics of the existing landscape. <br /> <br />5.
