5.0 The Edit Menu

5.3.1 Setting a Call

To set a river call, identify the calling structure from the Structure
List at the bottom of the Edit Calls dialog. When you select the
diversion structure, SPWRMS will display the tabulated water rights
at that structure. Select the calling right from the list of Available
Calls, specify the date and time of the call along with any comment
you wish to make regarding the call. After entering the call informa-
tion, click on the Set New Call button to record the river call in the
SPWRMS database.

5.3.2 Mainstem and Tributary Calls

In the Edit Calls dialog, river calls are separated into mainstem and
tributary calls (the mains tern of the South Platte River is defined to be
all points downstream of Antero Reservoir). To release a call from
either the mainstem or from the tributaries, select the call from the
appropriate Calls in Effect list. Next, specify the date and time of
the release along with any comment you wish to make regarding the
release.

5.3.3 Releasing Calls

Finally, click the Release Call button to record the released call
in the SPWRMS database. You may enter a comment for the release
if you wish.

5.4 Water Information Sheet

To avoid unnecessary modem traffic and delays, load
your Water Information Sheet from disk unless another
user may have changed the sheet since you last changed it,
or unless you need the river calls information displayed
on the bottom of the sheet in order to fill in the other
information correctly.

The Water Information Sheet (WlS) is the focal point of the SPWRMS appli-
cation. lbrough the WlS, the user may submit information regarding the
state of the river to the central database in Denver.

5.4.1 Opening the WIS from the Pulldown Menu

The arrow next to the Daily Info. Sheet menu item under the
Edit menu indicates a cascading menu (sub-menu) for the WIS.
Within this cascading menu are thinee~P\!ons: one for each
SPWRMS water district (the mainstem~South..P-latteRiver is
defined as being everything OOwnS~ero:RCSlll,Oir), one
