If this push is successful. That same <br />year, a Colorado Wilderness Bill, based on <br />the Coalition's proposal. was introduced <br />by then-Senator Hart. <br />During the 1984 session a compromise <br />bill protecting 700.000 acres almost <br />passed. but fell apart due to disputes <br />about federal reserve water rights for <br />wilderness areas.
