In every <br />case, the most important feature is, of course, the nature of <br />the water supply of the project; and in each case the study <br />covers only the water supply of the individual project. The <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board diverted ~8,000 in F.Y. 1955 <br />which was matched by the U. S. Geological Survey and was used <br />to install gaging stations and secure flow data for several of <br />these projects. $16,000 was diverted for this same purpose <br />for F.Y. 1956. In all, $24,000 from this appropriation has <br />been devoted to this work and this amount was matched by the <br />U. .S. Geological Survey.
