<br />OO()224 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />ELEMENT TASK A-l,9: COMBINE ECONOMIC AND HYDROLOGIC MODELS TO <br />DERIVE FORECASTS FOR EACH TIME PERIOD UNDER ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES <br /> <br />A, Description of Sub-task <br />Once the models have been formulated, tested and verified as adequate, <br />the final projection runs will be undertaken, This will involve coordination <br />with the ground water modeling activities undertaken in Element A-3, Deci- <br />sions must be made as to whether the simulation runs are to be done by an <br />iterative process with separate computational steps, or by a combined <br />hydrologic-economic model, <br />Analyses will be undertaken for each of the alternative development <br />strategies agreed upon by the High Plains Study Council for each decade of <br />the 40-year planning period, <br />From the model results, projections of agricultural output, gross <br />income, net income, resource use, direct employment, and water demand by <br />time period for each strategy will be derived, <br /> <br />B.
