FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
~

1
~
J'

r
r~

The Integrated Modeling System is being developed to allow for future enhancements and the
incorporation of new analytical procedures. In particular, the PRSYM model will be
designed to accommodate optimization techniques at a future date. The modeling
environment and analysis tools will provide the framework to eventually incorporate risk and
uncertainty analyses. The non-resident hydrologic modeling system (MMS) has the
capability to generate streamflow forecasts based on the Extended Streamflow Prediction
methodology. PRSYM will also be capable of multiple runs and will be supported by
statistical analysis tools. Therefore, full utilization of a streamflow forecasting methodology
can be implemented in the future. The modeling environment will support other utility-
specific enhancements and developments.

1-
L
r
[
F
L
[
fi.'
It
Ir
[
[

r
~,
~

D
H

7-1

-
