.OtiG339

The Resident Power and Reservoir System Model (pRSYM)

of a paper document. An on-line tutorial and help system should be developed if
the budget allows.

· A Prol!rammer/Maintainer's Manual should explain the structure of the model and
the relationship to the DSS. This document should enable a professional
programmer to make modifications to the model and to maintain the model within
the DSS framework.

· A Summary of Aoplications should describe the installation and application of the
modeling system at TVA and one other utility.

It is required that the Subcontractor, Consultants, and TV A will work closely together on the
development and implementation of the PRSYM model. TV A personnel must be trained on
the technical aspects and application of the model. It is. expected that TV A personnel and
consultants will spend time at the Subcontractor's facility during the model development
phase and that the Subcontractor will assist in the on-line implementation at TV A facilities.
Similarly, the Subcontractor will assist in the implementation of the model at a second utility
(under a separate contract).

3-17

~~
