<br />Cooperative Research and Production
<br />Act of 1993-AAF Association, Inc.

<br />Notice is hereby give that, on
<br />December 19, 2003, pursuant to section
<br />6(a) of the National Cooperative
<br />Research and Production Act of 1993,
<br />15 V.S.c. 4301 et seq. ("the Act"), AAF
<br />Association, Inc. has filed written
<br />notifications simultaneously with the
<br />Attorney General and the Federal Trade
<br />Commission disclosing changes in its
<br />membership status. The notifications
<br />were filed for the purpose of extending
<br />the Act's provisions limiting the
<br />recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual
<br />damages'under specified circumstances.
<br />Specifically, BAE Systems, San Diego,
<br />CA; Curious Rabbit Software,
<br />Livermore, CA; Diaquest LLC, Benicia,
<br />CA; Eastman Koday Company,
<br />Rochester, NY; Merging Tech Inc.,
<br />Northbrook, IL; Synthetic Aperture, San
<br />Juan Capistrano, CA; and Universitat
<br />Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain have
<br />been added as parties to this venture.
<br />Also, da Vinci Systems, Inc., Coral
<br />Springs, FL; Leitch Incorporated,
<br />Burbank, CA; and VRT (Vlaamse Radio-
<br />en Televisioeomroep), Brussels,
<br />Belgium have been dropped as parties to
<br />this venture.
<br />
<br />No other changes have been made in
<br />either the membership or planned
<br />activity of the group research project.
<br />Membership in this group research
<br />project remains open, and AAF
<br />Association, Inc. intends to file

<br />disclosing all changes in membership.
<br />On March 28, 2000, AAF Association,
<br />Inc. filed its original notification
<br />pursuant to Section 6(a) of the Act. The

<br />Section 6(b) of the Act on June 29, 2000
<br />(65 FR 40127).
<br />The last notification was filed with
<br />the Department on September 11,2003.
<br />A notice was published in the Federal
<br />Register pursuant to section 6(b) of the
<br />Act on October 1, 2003 (68 FR 56650).

<br />of the parties and (2) the nature and
<br />objectives of the venture. The
<br />notifications were filed for the purpose
<br />of invoking the Act's provisions limiting

<br />circumstances. Pursuant to Section 6(b)
<br />of the Act, the identities of the parties

<br />domain. The project is being conducted
<br />in connection with Honeywell's role as
<br />the prime recipient under U.S.
