<br />DURATION FREQUENCY ANALYSIS

<br />Calculates exceedance/ non-exceedance probabilities using
<br />the Log Pearson Type m distribution. Uses the binary
<br />export from either USGS Daily Values or Canadian
<br />Surface Water.

<br />BIGMAC
<br />
<br />BIGMAC is a template for Q,attro@ Pro or Lotus 123
<br />spreadsheets that can be used to perform various
<br />hydrological analyses and to provide alternative ways of
<br />viewing data exported from HYDRO DATA USGS Daily
<br />Values. B1GMAC is no free lunch. but it does include eight
<br />easy-to-use menu-driven macros designed to quickly,
<br />accurately and automatically calculate and format
<br />summary tables and display data graphically.
<br />The features of BIG MAC include:
<br />1- a hydrograph of total annual flows in acre-feet for each
<br />year in a selected period of record
<br />Ij a three-trace graph showing the minimum, mean and
<br />maximum daily flows for a selected period of record
<br />1- a bar graph of the monthly minimum. mean and
<br />maximum flows in cubic feet per second ( efs) or
<br />acre-feet for a selected period of record
<br />1- a hydrograph of daily stream flows for the entire period
<br />of record or any selected sequential years within the
<br />period of record for any station
<br />1- a bar graph of the minimum. mean and maximum daily
<br />flows for any month in a selected period of record
<br />Ij tables showing average monthly Rows in efs or acre-feet
<br />for each year in a selected period of record for any
<br />station.

<br />USGS PEAK VALUES
<br />
<br />Annual and partial flood peaks for more than 25.000
<br />present and historical stations from the USGS
<br />WATSTORE data base. Updated annually on one CD-ROM.
<br />Indexed by state.. station name and station 10. Annual
<br />and partial series, precalculated summary statistics and
<br />rank ordering available for each station.
<br />Options for data exports include ASCII (also print).
<br />Lotus. and binary formats.

<br />CANADIAN SURFACE WATER DATA
<br />
<br />More than 200,000 station-years of daily flow,
<br />instantaneous peak flow and lake level data from the
<br />Environment Canada HYDAT data base covering over
<br />7,800 stations throughout Canada, its provinces and
<br />territories. HYDRODATA Environment Canada is
<br />updated periodically on one CD-ROM and indexed by
<br />Province/Territory, station name and station ID. Daily
<br />values (with integrated data flags). precalculated
<br />summary statistics, and instantaneous peak series are
<br />included for each station. Options for exports include
<br />ASCII (also print). Lotus. USGS Card Record. Canadian
<br />Card Record. and binary fonnats.
