The economics of <br />, <br /> <br />each parcel were adjusted to reflect its particular characteristics. <br />These characteristics include soil suitability, land clearing and <br />preparation, and farm efficiency adjustments for parcel size. <br />After analysis, one of the parcels in the Animas Watershed was found <br />to not be practicably irrigable. The other four parcels in the <br />Animas Watershed and the parcel in the Florida Watershed were found <br />to qualify as practicably irrigable. The details of the analysis <br />are contained in, "Economic Analysis of Potentially Irrigable <br />Parcels in the Animas and Florida Watershed", December, 1986, <br /> <br />prepared by Western Research Corporation. <br /> <br />Four parcels in the Animas Watershed totalling approximately 265 <br />acres and one 29 acre parcel in the Florida Watershed were found to <br />ha ve a posi t i ve payment capaci ty and therefore me t the require men t of <br />being practicably irrigable. <br /> <br />18 <br />
