Robinson has had extensive experience <br />in assessing the policy implications and socioeconomic <br />impacts of natural resources developments. He has <br />performed a variety of studies in engineering econ- <br />omics and has conducted extensive environmental <br />investigations for a wide range of public and pri- <br />vate clients. Specific areas of emphasis have in- <br />cluded fuel/energy supply and demand studies, energy <br />policy analysis, water resource studies, and the <br />evaluation of social and economic impacts associated <br />with large scale developments in the mining, synthetic <br />fuels, and power industries in the Rocky Mountains <br />and Great Plains states. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Robinson was formerly a Senior Economist with <br />the international engineering consulting firm of <br />Dames and Moore. His professional experience includes <br />two environmental engineering assignments in Europe, <br />involving mining, power plant siting and comparative <br />analyses of tidal, solar, wind, and nuclear (Light <br />Water Reactor and High Temp. Gas Reactor) electric <br />generating potential in Spain. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />A special area of interest and concentration <br />has been the assessment of fiscal impacts on state <br />and local government due to energy development and <br />the formulation of analytical tools and modeling <br />techniques to forecast energy related population <br />growth. <br /> <br />I <br />-i <br /> <br />Robinson has a Master of Arts in Economics and <br />is a member of the National Association of Business <br />Economists and the American Planning Association. <br />
