He is an Associate of the firm and <br />serves a~ the Secretary of the Board of DirectDrs. He is authorized <br />to negotiate contracts with potential clients, Mr, Muller directs <br />the work activities of project managers, project engineers and <br />design engineers, <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />, <br />I <br />~ <br />3 <br /> <br />Prior to joining our company, Mr, Muller served in the military <br />frDm 1969 to 1971 with the U. S. Army CDld Regions Research and <br />Engineering Laboratory, Hanover, New Hampshire. In this position <br />Mr. Muller was involved in a laboratory study of pressure-volume <br />relationships of certain rock types, He alsD assisted in the <br />development of expedient road designs fDr cold region application. <br />This work included test sectiDn construction ~n Alaska as well as <br />labDratory measurem~nts on materfals incorporated in the rDad de- <br />sign. <br /> <br />l <br />, <br /> <br />From 1968 to 1969 with the firm Df LDckwDDd; Andrews & Newman, <br />Inc., Consulting Engineers, HDuston, Texas, he perfDrmed general <br />civil engineering design and hydraulic design Dn (1) a Federal <br />project involving flood protection along the Rio Grande Valley, <br />(2) a municipal water distribution system including the writing <br />of construction specifications and (3) a theoretical study of a <br />contemplated river diversion scheme. <br />
