MacROBEATS <br /> <br />CIVIL ENGINEER <br /> <br />Since IOlntng Black & Veatch, Mr. MacRobefts has worked on a surface <br />water appraisal study for the Commonwealth of Puerto RIco. While In <br />resident in Puerto RICO, he worked primarily on data collection and data <br />base inventories. an island-wide precipitation map, computer processing <br />of data and hydrologic analYSIS. Since returning from Puerto Rico, Mr. <br />MacRoberts has been associated with projects involVing sewage treatment, <br />water supply, and regional water Quality management studies. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />From 1968 to 1969. he was employed by the Federal Water Pollution <br />Conuol AdrniOlsuation. His duties were to aSSist in the develpoment of a <br />RegIonal Computer Center, and performed computer programming for water <br />resources and water Quality studies In which he was ilssigned. <br /> <br />, <br />'" <br /> <br />From 1960 to 1966, during summer employment and flflally full time with <br />the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mr. Mac Roberts served successively <br />as a survey crew member (land and water surveys), dredging inspector, <br />construction Iflspector of local flood control works and as a Civil <br />Engineer. He left that position in 1966 to return to the Untversity of <br />Kansas. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />While attending the UniverSity of Kansas, Mr. MacRoberts was a research <br />assistant at the Center for Research, Inc. He assisted in contract work <br />for developlflg a Water Quality Computer Model (Digital) for the lower <br />Kansas Ri...er Basin which was the topic of his Master's thesis.
