<br />J <br /> <br />Preface <br /> <br />As Colorado increases the sophistication of its water management system via Decision <br />Support Systems (DSS), past water models must be evaluated to determine their potential <br />contributions to future DSS development efforts. Evaluating water management models <br />evokes many opinions. The SAMSON Model, developed in the early 1980s, is no exception. <br />To ensure a thorough and balanced evaluation, CWRRl asked a group of faculty and South <br />Platte water managers to prepare an assessment of SAMSON, given today's technology and <br />needs.
