Morrill <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver CO 80203 <br /> <br />COLi), ,....; <br />CONSERVAT;ON' ~~ARD <br /> <br />Dear Mr, Morrill: <br /> <br />Enclosed are two copies of the report, "Impacts on the Lower Colorado <br />Region Resulting From Alternative Levels of Emerging Energy Development <br />in the Upper Colorado Region," which was transmitted to the U,S, Water <br />Resources Council on October 25, 1979, by the Commissioner, <br /> <br />The report was prepared under authority of section 13(a) of the <br />Nonnuclear Energy Act of 1974 and by Memorandum of Agreement between <br />the U.S, Water Resoures Council and the Water and Power Resources <br />Service. <br /> <br />This report supplements the Council's study in the Upper Colorado <br />Region which was managed by the State of Colorado and for which the <br />Water and Power Resources Service prepared the hydrologic data base <br />and river operation studies. Consequently, those hydrologic details <br />plus the derivation of the alternative futures have not been dupli- <br />cated in this report.
