Superior is the only entity that still is on private <br /> <br />septic tanks. <br /> <br />It appears, therefore, that no immediate problem regarding <br /> <br />sewage effluent from these entities will exist in the next five to <br /> <br />ten years. <br /> <br />Other studies completed or under way <br /> <br />Reconnaissance investigations in the mid-1960's and the <br /> <br />Front Range studies in the early 1970's have identified the municipal <br /> <br />and industrial water supply needs in the general Front Range area. <br /> <br />The most recent studies indicate a critical need in the Coal Creek <br /> <br />area. <br /> <br />O~ the other hand, the Coal Creek Association, recognizing <br /> <br />its need for additional municipal and industrial water supplies, has, <br /> <br />through a consultant, formulated a plan of development. <br /> <br />Local input and reactions to the proiect <br /> <br />Most of the project area is located in Boulder County; and, <br /> <br />although there is a strong feeling there about stabilized growth, <br /> <br />very little reaction, if any, was expressed against the project. <br /> <br />Leqal authority of the Coal Creek Water and Sanitation Association <br /> <br />Before an operating and amortization budget for a possible <br /> <br />project may be prepared, the financial capability of the sponsoring <br /> <br />agency (namely, the Coal Creek Water and Sanitation Association) has <br /> <br />to be determined.
