The Board dooided
to attempt to securo permission to expend these funds to study possible
importatio:ns of wator to the San Luis Valley.

On April 20th the Project Manager consulted with the Chief' Engin..
eer and staff of the Colorado Water Conservation Board regarding possible
plans of development thet might prove desirsQle in oonneotion with import-
ation of water from other bas1ns.

During the latter part of the month a trip wae made to Manhattan,
Kansas to seoure a :36, inch plow for experiments, at the 'losca-Hooper Plots,
in tillage methods.
