CONCERNING GOVERNMENT RECORDS, AHD, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH,
PROVIDING FOR ACCESS TO. THE CUSTODY OF, THE CHARGES FOR,
AND THE STATUS OF SAID RECORDS.

Be it enacted b the General Assembl of the State of Colorado:

SE I.' 19~1-120 (2) (a), Colorado Revised Statutes,
1988 Rep . V ,as amended, Is amended to read:

19-1-120. Conf1dentlallt~ of reco~ds - deoendency and
net/1ect. (2) Only the following persons or agencies shall be
given lccess to child lbuse o~ neglect records Ind reports:

'-

(I) The law enforcement agency, district attorney,
CORONER, or county or d1str1ct department of social services
Investigating I report of I known or suspected incident of
child abuse o~ neglect or treating a child or family which Is
the SUbject Of the report, and, 1n addlt10n to safd, reports
and rlcords, the law enforcement Igen(y, d1str1ct ~ttorney,
CORONER, or county deplrtment shall have Iccess to the state
cent~a1 registry of child protection for information under the
name of the ch11d or the suspected perpetrator;

SECTION 2. 24-72-202 (7), Colorldo Revised Statutes.
1988 Repl. Vol., Is amended, and the said 24-72-202, as
amended, 15 amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUBSECTION, to
read:

24-72-202. Definitions. As used 1n this part 2, unless
the context otherwise requires:
