<br />OOH73 <br /> <br />-15- <br /> <br />III - EXPORTATIONS, PUNNING <br /> <br />anticipated more rapid development in the Lower Basin, so does <br />the Colorado law protect the present and prospective uses with- <br />in the natural basin of the Colorado River in Colorado against <br />exportations for use in other stream basins in the State. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br /><l <br /> <br />Note (b), Senate Document 80, 75th Congress, 1st Session, <br />prmted June 15, 1937, desoribes the Colorado-Big Thompson Pro- <br />jeot and the manner in which it shall be operated to preserve <br />the vested and futureri ghts in irri gation; to preserve the <br />fishing and recreational facilities and soenic attractions of <br />Grand Lake and the Rocky Nountain National Park; to maintain <br />the surfaoe elevations of water in Grand lAke and minimize <br />their fluctuations; to maintain the conditions of river flow <br />for the benefit of domestio and sanitary uses thereof; and to <br />so conserve and make use of waters for irrigation, power, in- <br />dustrial development, and other purposes, as to create the <br />greatest benefits.
