<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />. .. ~ <br />000862 <br /> <br />(4) Within 2 years of completion of Ridges Basin Reservoir, Reclamation will <br />develop a Cultural Resource Management Plan (CRMP) to provide long term <br />management of cultural and historical properties which will include: <br />(a) Provision for in-place preservation. <br />(b) Management of future recreational development. <br />(c) Operation & maintenance of facilities, <br />(d) Public interpretation and public involvement. <br /> <br />c) Monitoring: <br />i) General Construction: <br />(I) Construction and development activities will be selectively monitored to ensure <br />that in-place preservation objectives and NAGPRA and NHPA compliance is <br />achieved <br />ii) By Operations: <br />(I) Ri dges Basin Reservoir: <br />(a) The shoreline will be periodically monitored for cultural and paleontologic <br />resources as part of facilities operations. <br /> <br />9) Agriculture - No significant impact were identified for agriculture, however some avoidance <br />measures will be taken, <br /> <br /> <br />a) A voidancelMinimization: <br />i) By Design: <br />(I) Navajo Nation Municipal Pipeline (NNMP): <br />(a) The NNMP will be designed and located in such a way that it will avoid and <br />protect agricultural lands to the maximum extent practicable. Consultation <br />with the Navajo Nation will occur before final alignment is determined. <br />ii) General Construction: <br />(1) Navajo Nation Municipal Pipeline: <br />(a) If possible construction of the pipeline within agricultural areas will occur <br />outside of the agricultural production time. <br /> <br />10) Recreation - Operation and presence of the Durango Pumping Plant would adversely affect <br />the quality of the private boating experience for some local users of the Animas River. <br /> <br />a) A voidance/Minimization: <br />i) By Design: <br />(1) Durango Pumping Plant: <br />(a) The Durango Pumping Plant will be designed to blend into the natural land <br />form to the extent practicable, Design elements will blend with the <br />surrounding land forms, colors and lines occurring on the west side of the <br />river.
