Sparks, Director

SUBJECT: House Assignment of Senate Bill 35

The amended Senate Bill 35 as enacted by the Senate has been
referred to the House Committee on State Affairs. It is probable that
the committee will hold hearings on the bill sometime next week. It
is therefore critical that the project sponsors accomplish their home-
work with their state representatives as soon as possible, if they have
not already done so.

At least some project representatives should be present to
testify at the hearings. Normally such testimony is limited to about
five to ten minutes. It is therefore requested that those project
sponsors who would like to testify at the hearing advise this board as
soon as possible. When we receive notice of the hearing, we will then
advise those project sponsors of the time of the hearing by telephone.

The members of the House State Affairs Committee are as

follows:

A.
