Alternatives Evaluation <br /> <br />GEl's monitoring and review of these activities on behalf of the District will be based on <br />our knowledge of the region, permittingINEP A compliance issues, and experience on <br />similar projects. We ",ill review detailed work plans for each task and the interim and <br />final work products, determine how these findings impact Proj ect operations and the <br />District-wide storage demands, as identified in the Water and StDrage Needs Assessment, <br />and brief the District Board in writing regarding our findings. <br /> <br />Task 3. Participate in District discussions relative to developing and evaluating alternative plans <br />for storage with: <br /> <br />a. Bureau of Reclamation <br />b. Colorado Springs Utilities <br />c, Other District beneficiaries <br />d, Non-District entities <br /> <br />Task 4. Support the district as needed in follow-up discussions and presentations to stakeholders <br />and the public. Participate in sse meetings as requested to help facilitate a District-wide <br />preferred storage option. <br /> <br />Task 5. Review the MODSIM modeling of Fry-Ark system to be- performed by Montgomery- <br />Watson to assure that Winter Water, If-and-When Accounts, and East Slope rights, <br />delivery limitations, and other key factors are properly and appropriately considered, <br />Assistance on this task will be provided by Helton & Williamsen, p.e. Use the <br />MODSIM model developed by others to test operating scenarios Df interest to the District <br />for in-house review of storage options, <br /> <br />Task 6. Work with the District entities in the Lower Basin to provide additional storage and <br />fUrther assess the configuration, costs, and feasibility of a "Valley Pipeline," <br /> <br />Task 7. Provide a preferred "Storage Options Plan," which documents Tasks I - 6 above, and <br />includes recommendations for consideration by the Enterprise Board relative to preferred <br />storage options. <br /> <br />Pl09~\5;OOI:,"'1I4 2 <br />
