<br />,"., <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Exhibit A cont. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Table 3 <br />South Platte Decision Support System Feasibility Study - Task Summary <br /> <br />Task Title Objective <br />I Introduction Review readily available publications and provide an introduction <br /> to the feasibility study and the study area in sufficient detail to <br /> allow the report to stand by itself. <br />2 Needs Meet with local representatives either independently or in groups <br /> and identify and describe the study area and needs that are to be <br /> met by the SPDSS. <br />3 Data Assessment Assess the availability and quality of existing data and determine <br /> what new data is necessary or desirable to develop a SPDSS that <br /> accurately and effectively addresses the needs identified in the <br /> previous Task. Prioritize new data collection based upon cost <br /> effectiveness in meeting those needs. Select a study period and <br /> identify new data that must be obtained to fill gaps or increase the <br /> SPDSS accuracy. If the study period selected is less than the entire <br /> period of record, explain the basis for the period selected. <br />4 Decision Support System Review the existing DSS systems and identify components that <br /> Components can be used in SPDSS. Identify all the components required to <br /> develop Ihe SPDSS that cost effeclively address the needs <br /> identified in the previous Tasks. Describe the functionality of each <br /> component and the data requirements, including hardware and <br /> software requirements as appropriate. <br />5 Alternatives Develop up to three (3) SPDSS component alternatives <br /> considering needs, data availability, costs and other appropriate <br /> factors. <br />6 Proposed Alternative Develop and fully evaluate one (1) proposed SPDSS alternative in <br /> consultation with the State and SPDSS Advisory Committee. <br />7 Report Preparation Incorporate previous task deliverables into a final report. <br />8 Management - Contractor Track work accomplished, maintain budget and schedule, and <br /> regularly report the status of work activities. In addition, promote <br /> communication among the State and Advisory Committee tearn <br /> members in order to identify and resolve issues before they impact <br /> the schedule or budget. <br /> The prime contractor will manage the contractor component of the <br /> SPDSS feasibility study. At leasl one key individual will conducl <br /> the Interviews performed in Task 2.2, attend the Progress <br /> meetings performed in Task 8.3 and attend the Advisory meetings <br /> performed in Task 8.4. <br />9 Management - State Provide direction and resolve issues associated with this scope of <br /> work. Review deliverables, track work accomplished, and <br /> evaluate budget and schedule.
