The purpose of the report is to update the
feasibility work for the project before disbursing the remaining funds in the District's
19S5 Construction Fund authorization (about $6.4 million remains). The last feasibility
study for the project was completed in 1991 and a great deal has taken place since then as
summarized in the attached report.

The report served as the basis for our May Board meeting memo on the Plateau Creek
Project. Ris also intended to serve as documentation (with updates as necessary) for any
, additional funding request the District may wish to pursue later this year. The District
staff has indicated they would like to approach the Board this fall for an additional
Construction Fund loan for the project which has more than doubled in cost since it was
originally presented to the Board in 1987.
