Gregg <br />Stanway, P.O. Box 120, Hotchkiss, Colorado 81419, requests a <br />Surface Water Right by Application filed August 28, 1989. <br /> <br />FINDINGS OF PACT <br /> <br />1. All notices required by law of the filing of this <br />Application have been given. The Referee has jurisdiction of this <br />case. The time for filing of statements of opposition has expired <br />and no such statements have been filed. <br /> <br />2. Applicant requests an absolute water right for the DUKE <br />DITCH ENLARGEMENT, which existing hcadgate is located on the left <br />banr. of Leroux Creek whence the quarter section corner between <br />Sections 23 and 24, Township 14 South, Range 93 West, 6th P.M., <br />bears North 500 East, approximately 2547.6 feet, and is tributary to <br />Leroux Creek and the Gunnison RiVer. Applicant desires to have flow <br />rights for 5.0 c.f.s. for the irrigation purposes of Applicant.
