Today, I received. a <br />faxed copy of a letter dated January 16, 1995 from Mr. McDill, . <br />president of the MCQWD Board, to Mr. Holman, the Trustee 1 <br />responding to Mr. Holman's pr~viously-unanswered December 7, 1992 <br />and November 10, 1994 letters. In the spirit of full disclosure, <br />the Trustee and I felt we shOUld immediately provide this response <br />(which crossed "in the mail" with my letter to you yesterday) <br />immediately to the Board. <br /> <br />On behalf of the Seyf~ied family, Mr. Holman expressed <br />encouragement with the District's response 1 particularly the <br />willingness expressed in the ~econd paragraph on page 2 to resume <br />discussions concerning a po~sible outright purchase or lease <br />extension with the Trustee and the Seyfried family. On the <br />strength of that expression of interest from the District, 'Mr. <br />Holman is now planning to attend the Board meeting next Wednesday, <br />and perhaps more significantly to arrange such a meeting between <br />the District and the family members and himself in Denver either <br />shortly before or shortly aft~r the Board's consideration of this <br />matter. <br /> <br />We will attempt to continue to update the Board on <br />developments that may have a material bearing on the Board's action <br />on this matter.
