Said District shall be a governmental subdivision of the State of Colorado, and a body corporate with all the rights, powers and authority which were granted by statute to the Lion's Ridge Water District, Bighorn Water District, Gore Valley Water District, Vail Intermountain Water District, Vail Water District and Vail Village West Water and Sani- tation District and the rights, powers, and authority granted to a metropolitan district; that said District shall immediately become the owner of and entitled to receive, hold, sue for, and collect all monies, funds, taxes, levies, assessments, fees and charges and all property and assets of any kind and nature owned, leased, or claimed by or due to any of the special districts so consolidated; and that the obligations of the special d~stricts so consolidated, other than bonded indebtedness, shall be assumed by said consolidated district and paid by said consolidated district. The Board of Directors shall take such steps and proceedings as the needs of the District require; and that forthwith the Clerk of this Court shall transmit to the County Clerk and Recorder of Eagle County, Colorado a true and correct copy of this Order and Decree. Notice of the completion of the organization of the District shall be filed and recorded with the County Clerk and Recorder of Eagle County, the County Clerk shall notify the County Assessor of such action, and a certified copy of - said Notice shall be filed with the Division of Local Government of the State ~olorado.
