SSI will use the <br />results for stratification, tasseled-cap and principal component analysis <br />processing images as .img files clipped to Division of Water Resources (DWR) <br />basins and organized by Division. <br /> <br />3. Division of Water Resources Basin delineation <br /> <br />Load DWR basin coverage. Verify projection and document coverage attributes. Re-project <br />as needed. <br /> <br />4. USGS Quad24 boundaries with index <br /> <br />Load USGS Quad24 boundaries. Verify projection and document coverage attributes. Copy <br />quads to appropriate Division subdirectory. <br /> <br />5. The State's 1993 Irrigated Acreage Theme <br /> <br />The State's 1993 Irrigated Acreage theme will be converted into Arclnfo coverage with level 3 <br />(polygon) topology. The coverage's, in ArcView shape files, provided by the State (DWR <br />basins, Quad24 boundaries, head gate locations, and associated indexes) will be checked for <br />projection, topology, and other coverage parameters by Dog Creek QAlQC software and the <br />metrics file will be stored in the project history directory. Any discrepancies or deficiencies will <br />be noted and resolved with the client. Each coverage will be copied to the appropriate DWR <br />Division directory. <br /> <br />6. USGS DRG's quads and index <br /> <br />Load USGS Quad24 boundaries. Verify projection and document coverage attributes. The <br />USGS DRG quads will be converted, if necessary to a GeoTiff, and stored in a project <br />directory organized by Division. An image catalog will be built for each Division to facilitate <br />digitizing, edgematching, and Quality Control management. <br /> <br />All project data will kept as archived records in a fireproof safe in a Department of Defense <br />approved secure room. <br /> <br />Work Product for Items 3 - 6: <br /> <br />All coverage's and raster images will have been quality checked, reformatted <br />and reprojected as necessary and written to project directories for use on the <br />project. <br /> <br />Page 12 <br />
