QUIT CLAIM DEED

The State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources,
Colorado Water Conservation Board, hereby quitclaims to the City
of Rifle, the following described real property situate in the
County of Garfield and State of Colorado, to-wit:

A tract of land lying in the Northwest
Quarter (NW/4) of the Northeast Quarter
(NE/4) of Section 15, Township 6 South,
Range 93 West of the 6th Principal Merid-
ian, being more particularly described as
follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of
the Southerly right-of-way line of the Den-
ver & Rio Grande Railroad with the West
line of said Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of
the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of Section 15;
thence North 63 19'13" East along said
Southerly railroad right-of-way line with
all bearings herein being relative thereto,
a distance of 665.00 feet; thence South 24
45'00" East 220.00 feet; thence South 63
30'00" East 444.00 feet; thence South 26
00'00" East approximately 420 feet, more or
less, to the centerline of the Colorado
River; thence Northwesterly along said cen-
terline to intersect said West line of the
Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of the Northeast
Quarter (NE/4) of Section 15; thence North
