ORDINANCE 428

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE 420 AND ORDINANCE 425
AN ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE ON THE FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT

;WHEREAS; the Board of Trustees wish to proceed with the Erie
Flood Control Pro1ect, and

WHEREAS, flood control and drainage are considered public
works, and

WHEREAS, the Town of Erie is a statutory town in the State
of Colorado 1

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ERIE, COLORADO,

1. That the Town of Erie is hereby authorized to enter into
contract with the Colorado Water Conservation Board
(CWeB) for $313,530.00 in state funds and the Department
of Local Affairs (DOLA) for a $160,000 grant in energy
impact assistance. These funds are to be used
exclusively for the Ere Flood Control Project.

2. That the Hayor of the Town of Erie is hereby authorized
to sign appropriate CWCS and DOLA documents and contracts
for these funds.

3.
