Pay request was sent to CWCB September <br /> <br />2. Arrived at CWCB on September 24, 1980, was processed on <br />September 25, 1980, and personally carried to Local Affairs <br />for payment. <br /> <br />3. Local Affairs paid only $29,649.36 out of the requested <br />$300,800.71, as note on request explains due to lack of funds. <br /> <br />4. Meanwhile, Annette Grand, Town Administrator, resigned. CWCB <br />was not aware that only about 10 percent of requested amount <br />was paid. Neither Local Affairs nor the town told CWCB staff <br />as to how much of requested amount was paid. We assumed 100 <br />percent payment. <br /> <br />5. In the week of March 9, 1981, received phone call from Town <br />Clerk telling us that silt had not received most of its money. <br />Checked with Demmus Harvey and processed again old pay request <br />for $271,151.35 on March 12, 1981. <br /> <br />6. Mary Martel processed pay request March 23, 1981, when it must <br />have left the office. <br /> <br />7. Charles Hedgepeth, Town of silt official, has called twice <br />about the $271,151.35. So did Steve Schmitz from Local Affairs. <br /> <br />8. In conclusion, the town needs the money badly and asks us to <br />expedite procedure to get them the check. <br /> <br />NI:tam <br />
