organized on the 31st day of May 1889j under and by virtue of the lews of the state

of Colorado and as hereinafter mentioned, do inake this our certificate in duplicate

and we do hereby certify &0 the following facts:

FIRST: That the said first above named company, at a meeting of its stockholders

called and held in accordance with the laws of the state of Colorado on the 31st day

of May 1889, agreed to the proposition of consolidation presented at said meeting1

in writing, 'With the said second above named company, by a vote of the entire stock

of the said compaI\Y.

SECOND: That the said The Delta Ditch Company second above anmed at a meeting of its

stockholders called and beld ih accordance with the ls..ws of the state of Colorado,

on the 31st day of May 1889, agreed to the proposition of consolidation presented

at said meeting in writing, with the SGid "The Purdy and Vickers Ditch Company

first above named,. by a vote of its entire capital sibock.

THIRD: That the name of the said new consolidated company shall be "The Delta

Canal Company. tI

FOURTH: That the object of the sald consolidated companyshall be to enlarge the

irrigation ditch heretofore used by the said The Purdy and Vickers Ditch Co. to

operate, maintain, and keep in repair said ditch and the h.terala and side ditches

thereof and to operate, Dlaintain and keep in repair the ditches heretofore belonging

to and operated by the two companias so consolidated as above set forth and to carry

water from the Uncompahgre river in Delta County, Colorado for irrigation,

dom~stic, milling and Il8.nufacturing purposes.

FIFI'H. That the said ditch is. to begin at a point on said stream on the right

bank thereof whence the W.W. corner of section 30 T. 15 s. R. 95 W. bears S. 780

30' W. 557 ft. distand and the line of said ditch is as follows: Beginning at the
