Harvey Gap

The Mouth of the spillway with the reservoir
level at gage 50.5'. 1.5' below the spillway crest.
Note small amount of brush in the mouth that
needs to be removed.

Personnel from Western Engineers inserting
ye into potential seepage areas at gage 45 (5.5'
deep) with perforated PVC. The dye did show
up in the seepage area, but not until the dye
had spread over a larger area in front of the
spillway (2.5 hours after insertion). This makes
it somewhat in conclusive as to the exact
location of the seepage except for that it is near
the spillway and above gage 45.

Looking a large rodent hole (ski pole) that is in
line with the historic crack (where Jim lemon is
standing next to the rebar marking the past end
of the crack). There was line of several rodent
holes paralleling the crest at this same
elevation (mid embankment).

April 11, 2003
