<br />~ ~ <br /> <br />BOARD MEETING <br /> <br />MINNESOTA CANAL & RESERVOIR COMPANY <br />1378 4100 ROAD <br />PAONIA, COLORADO 81428 <br />AUGUST 8, 1990 <br /> <br />Grant Farnsworth, President, called the Board meeting to <br />order with Board Members Grant Farnsworth, David Johnston, Neil <br />Thompson, Dennis Linmann and Sid Simpson present. <br /> <br />The minutes o~ the June 12, 1990, were read and approved as <br />read. <br /> <br />The Colorado Water Conservancy Board turned down the 40/60 <br />split on the cost o~ a ~easibility study. They want 50/50. We <br />wrote a letter stating we will pay the 50X. I~ we build the Dam <br />within ten (10) years we will pay the monies back. Some <br />discussion o~ the contract with the Colorado Water Conservancy <br />Board was held. The contract is in the amount o~ $13,325.00. <br />The amount o~ the contract to be repaid is $17,255.90 <br />with equal payments o~ $1725.99 over a period o~ ten years. <br />The ~irst installment to be due and payable on January 1st. o~ <br />the neNt year succeeding the initiation o~ construction on the <br />water project and each year therea~ter ~or ten (10) years. <br /> <br />Neil Thompson made amotion to accept <br />Colorado Water Conservancy Board. Dennis <br />motion. All Board Members were in ~avor. <br /> <br />the contract with the <br />Linmann seconded the <br /> <br />The Contracts were authorized and signed by the Board <br />Members. Dave Johnson will do the certi~ication o~ the Contract <br />and the minutes o~ this meeting. <br /> <br />The condition o~ the upper ditch, ~rom the cabin to the <br />upper cow camp and on up is in bad shape according to Sid <br />Simpson. The Board will have to inspect the ditch and see what <br />needs to be done. The Board was in ~avor o~ Farnsworth <br />construction doing the work. Dennis Linmann made the motion to <br />this e~~ect and Sid Simpson seconded and all Board Members were <br />in ~avor. Farnsworth Construction will do this work. <br />Grant Farnsworth will talk to the Forest Service to get the <br />approval ~or doing any work. <br /> <br />Grant Farnsworth reported we need new measuring sticks ~or <br />the Reservoir. David Johnston made the motion to do this and Sid <br />Simpson seconded the motion. All were in ~avor. <br /> <br />Grant Farnsworth has sprayed the Minnesota Dam and killed a <br />
