I. TIME SCHEDULES: The study will require about I year for collection and compilation of
basic data and 2 years for data interpretation, contouring maps, and
preparation of the draft final reports. Project activities will begin in
October I, 1996, pending completion of funding arrangements. Timely
undertaking of this study will enable more compreher:sive results because
of the close cooperation now possible with the ongoing U.S. Geological
Survey sludy of the water quality of the South Platte River System
(NA WQA).

J. COST:

Total cost for the work outlined in thi~ proposal is $990,000. Annual cost
is $330.000 for each of the 3 years of the study.

K. FUNDING:

It is planned that the U.S. Geological Survey will provide the majority of
the funding needed for this study because most of the results will meet the
needs of the National infrastructure resources project. Additional funding
needed to complete this study must be secured from local sources and from
U.S. Geological Survey matching funds.
