The resylts of <br />these evaluations shall be the basis for fomtulating alternative solutions for <br />comparison, The structural and general operation condition of the gates and <br />conduit shall be considered in the overall detemtination of the rehabllitHlon <br />requi rements. <br /> <br />The elements of this task shall be closely coordinated "ith the activities in <br />Subtask 7,2. relating to geotechnical analysis and overall stability, <br /> <br />7.4 Miscellaneous Design Considerations <br /> <br />7.4.1 Drainage <br /> <br />Present or anticipated drainage problems shall be evaluated and discussed with <br />the CWCB and the City. A project drainage plan will be developed if necessary, <br /> <br />7.4.2 Sedimentation <br /> <br />A sedimentation analysis shall be perfomted as part of the hydrologic work. <br />Estimated rates of sediment deposition shall be calculated, Sediment storage <br />requirements shall be detemtined and the effect on the reservoir outlet <br />assessed, The bas,ic data and method used in sediment computations shall be <br />included. <br /> <br />7.4.3 Right-of-Way <br /> <br />The study shall include an evaluation of right-of-way requirements for the <br />project and the results shall be presented in the final report, <br /> <br />- 12 - <br />
