The drip or trickle irrigation methods <br />are highly efficient means of irrigating with limited amounts <br />of water. There is considerable potential for the addition <br />of more orchard or vineyard area in Beaver Park. <br />The Beaver Park area is served with domestic water by <br />the Penrose Water District, Water for the central water <br />system is supplied by the irrigation system into a one million <br />gallon storage pond at the treatment plant, The water system <br />has 687 taps at present and has increased by 71 ~aps in the <br />last 6 months, The water district currently has a moritorium <br />on new taps until the treatment plant is expanded, The water <br />system has a present treatment capacity of 400,000 gallons <br />per day and is expanding the treatment plant to 800,000 gal- <br />lons per day. The treated storage capacity is 1,15 million <br />gallons. <br />The Beaver Park area is a popular area for the develop- <br />ment of suburban housing_on 5 or 10 acre tracts, This devel- <br />
