Rd 326 <br />Silt, CO 81652 <br /> <br />RE: Construct New Headgate and <br />Raw Water Pipelines. <br />Loan Approval <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Linville, <br /> <br />Concerning your application for a loan from the Construction Fund, I am pleased to inform you <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has approved your request for $60,000 from <br />the Small Project Loan Account. It is our understanding these funds will be used to construct <br />a new headgate and raw water pipelines to deliver water from the Multa Trina Ditch. <br /> <br />The CWCB approved a loan term of 30 years at an interest rate of 3.75%. I have attached a <br />copy of the updated Board memo concerning Chipperfield Lane Ditch, Inc. Please refer to page <br />3 of that memo and to the section "Action Taken by the CWCB, May 12, 1997". <br /> <br />The Board. has approvcd the loan subject to several conditions: <br /> <br />a. You must adhere to the CWCB Guidelines for Financial Assistance. A copy of. <br />our Guidelines is attached. <br /> <br />b. A Feasibility Study must be completed. A sample feasibility study has been <br />provided to Mr. Dennis Davidson of the NRCS. Please assist Dennis, so that he <br />can complete an initial draft. The draft (and computer disk) should be sent to <br />Jolm Van Sciver (303-866-3441) for review. John will complete the study, with <br />your assistance, so that the content of the report is in compliance with the <br />Guidelines and statutory requirements. <br /> <br />c. An approved contract must be in place before construction can proceed. Jan lllian <br />of this office (303-866-3441) will contact you concerning our contracting <br />procedure. It usually takes 2 to 3 months to complete the contract. No CWCB <br />funds can be disbursed until the loan contact is signed by all parties. <br />
