Articles of Incorporation
and Bylaws are included in Appendix A. The CLDC has 5
shareholders.

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

CLDC was formed in April 1997 for the purpose of undertaking this
project. All shareholders in the Company currently receive their
water from the Multi Trina Ditch through a system of headgate
structures, earth laterals, and underground pipelines. CLDC will
sponsor the project to replace these laterals.

Project Service Area

The service area is located in Garfield County, approximately
five miles south of Silt. Lands consist of mostly north facing
slopes at an elevation of 5,700 feet. CLDC serves 227 acres of
agricultural land of which 130 acres is under flood irrigation.
See map on page 2.

Need for the Project

The Chipperfield Lane Group is undertaking this project to
provide irrigation systems to serve the needs of five landowners
as well as to reduce erosion and high water losses. The water
for the project comes from the Multi Trina Ditch and runs along
County Road 326 in open ditches that are in poor condition. The
ditches have been eroded to depths if six feet in places, with
seepage losses making it difficult to get the water to irrigated
lands.
