Notice to begin the <br />study was given on February 15, 1985. The study has been completed and <br />attached is the final Feasibility Report on the Project, with Volume I <br />being the Report and Volume II the Appendices to the Report. <br /> <br />In addition to the Feasibility Report, a Federal Energy Regulatory <br />Commission License Application has been prepared (Appendix A) and <br />submi tted on the hydropower component of the project. A special use <br />permit application has also been submitted to the U. S. Fore'st Service <br />to construct the power plant and transmission line. <br /> <br />Numerous State and Federal agencies were contacted during the course of <br />the study, particularly the Bureau of Reclamation and Colorado Division <br />of Wildlife. The ideas and concerns of all the agencies have been <br />incorporated into the project plan. <br /> <br />Thank you for the opportunity to work with the Authority on <br />Dam Project.
